Pruning
My petunias are growing crazy. Today I gave it a "haircut", aka pruning. Instead of cutting the stems off from the front, I cut a few stems back from the back so the blooms on the front is still there. This will encourage the plant to be more bushy. If your plants are too leggy, cut the first few nodes of a stem back to encourage it to bush out.
Watering
To make it easier for daily watering I put a big bucket of water on the deck. So instead of lugging water back and forth I just dunk the watering can in the bucket to fill it up. On hot days, I probably need to fill this bucket every 3 days but it is much better than lugging water back and forth from the house.
I can’t wait!
I can't wait to try this tomato. Hope my daily lugging of watering cans pays off. There are also a couple of smaller tomatoes on this plant. It's amazing how much it can grow in a week.
