Fairy rose

I was really looking forward to receive this shipment from Antique Rose Emporium.  I was introduced to "The Fairy" rose from P. Allen Smith's TV show.  He mentioned how easy it is to grow this variety in containers and it's supposed to bloom all summer until frost.  I'm excited but also a little worry if I can handle it, especially roses are sometimes prone to disease.  Back in January I've talked about The Fairy rose and I got some good feedback from other bloggers.  Overall it is a good performer and it is one of the easiest and rewarding roses a gardener could get.  So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

By the way, I was completely satisfied with the shipment from Antique Rose Emporium.  It was carefully packed and the plant was in perfect condition when I opened the box.  I will definitely order from them again.

Each plant comes with a plastic tag with your name on it.  They guarantee the rose for up to six months and offer a refund for plant loss.

"The Fairy" rose transplanted into a larger container.  The container looks much bigger than the plant itself but I wanted to make sure it has enough room to grow.

The flower is so delicate, it's only a little bigger than my thumb.
