I have visitors in the bird house
If you look closely you can see twigs coming out from the bottom of the bird house. Who put it there? Back in April I noticed a bird coming in and out of the bird house but I never thought it would actually build a nest in there! I'm really excited because the bird house has been unoccupied for a year.
I wish the bird house is clear so I can see what's going on in there. Is a baby bird being born in there? I'm curious but at the same time don't want to disturb it. One thing I'm really worry about is the grill is right under the bird house and I don't want to cook the bird! I'll have to somehow move it.

How wonderful to possibly have a feathered family so close to your home. I entertain the idea of setting up a birdhouse…but with the dog (well, at least one of ‘em), she makes it her business to chase all birds away from “her property”. Every morning she races out of the house to shoo the wild birds that are pecking at insects in our lawn.

It amazes me sometimes when I consider what DOESN’T scare the birds away. Ours have tolerated sprinklers, yelling, traffic noise, and lots of footsteps above to nest under the deck. Hope your new guests are happy there and that you get to see them soon!

Yay! How exciting. I’ve never had a birdhouse before, but I would be half way to the moon if I found out baby birds were being born on my patio!
