Yay! How exciting. I've never had a birdhouse before, but I would be half way to the moon if I found out baby birds were being born on my patio!

It amazes me sometimes when I consider what DOESN'T scare the birds away. Ours have tolerated sprinklers, yelling, traffic noise, and lots of footsteps above to nest under the deck. Hope your new guests are happy there and that you get to see them soon!

How wonderful to possibly have a feathered family so close to your home. I entertain the idea of setting up a birdhouse...but with the dog (well, at least one of 'em), she makes it her business to chase all birds away from "her property". Every morning she races out of the house to shoo the wild birds that are pecking at insects in our lawn.
