Sandy - thanks!

Helen - thanks for visiting my blog. It's amazing to see wildlife growing so close to the house. I felt a little sad when the baby birds finally left the nest this past weekend. Hope they come back for a visit soon! :-)

Great photos! There's something wonderful about having wildlife growing in your garden isn't there? We have two birdhouses on the house and they always seem occupied. And like you I wish we could see inside and see the babies.

Fern - thanks for clarifying the name of the bird. I did a little research and learned something about the wren. "They are mainly small and inconspicuous, except for their loud and often complex songs."... they are very loud especially around the time the babies were born.

rowena - thanks! we were barbecuing on the deck yesterday and I think they got used to us being around, they weren't bothered by our presence at all.
