Seed saving
I've never saved seeds before because seeds are really cheap to purchase. But I want to be a true gardener and try saving seeds as a test. Moss Rose is very easy to start from seeds. I sow the seeds directly outside when the weather is warm enough in spring. Just make sure when you collect the seeds, the seed pods are dry and mature after all the flowers have faded. Seeds must be stored dry in an envelope.

Great plan, and also remember that by saving your own seeds you may have a ‘new’ variety as they cross pollinate with others so you could have some very interesting babies!
I’ve been saving seeds this year too, and can’t wait for next year when I get to see what I’ve produced

Great photos – those are cute little seeds. This year I’m saving some viola and morning glory, hyacinth and scarlet runner bean and, if I get some, my snake gourd – especially now because I can’t remember where I ordered them from!
